Kangerlussuaq, Greenland – Aug. 26, 2022

An unpaved road in the mountains.

By the way, there are only 150 km (90 mi) of roads in the whole country; 60 km (40 mi) of which are paved. There are no roads between settlements, only within them and around them. There are no highways in Greenland. People travel either by water or air. The reason for this is quite simple - with so much snow in the winter and such a small population, it's just not sustainable to have it any other way.
